Course Delivery Features
Most SCORM compliant computer-based training courses
track little information and provide a flat learning
experience. PTR has an advanced course viewer and
authoring tool to provide an enhanced online
learning experience. This toolset allows
corporations to create robust internally branded
courses using real company content. PTR’s online
view features:
Object Browser – PTR’s object browser
technology allows students to view the main
course content and a variety of additional
content, images, objects, multimedia and more.
Advanced Bookmarks – Bookmarks are
included to handle unscheduled interruptions.
Students can save not just one but an unlimited
number of bookmarks per course.
Glossary – The glossary gives students
quick access to common terms and definitions.
Definitions are automatically displayed when
students mouse-over terms that appear in the
main content.
Search – Students can perform keyword
searches. Results are returned with text, page
numbers, direct links and bookmark options.
Practice Test Questions – Practice
questions can be placed at the end of each
learning module and to any slide via the object
browser. These practice questions do not count
toward the final exam and allow students to view
training content and questions in parallel.
Final Exam – A final exam will be
provided at the end of the course. The exam
questions may be the same practice questions
asked in a random order or may be completely
different. You may customized questions based on
company-specific content and set the passing
score to the level you deem acceptable.
Advanced Testing – PTR can create robust
fill-in-the-blank and essay style questions
where complete responses are tracked and your
managers can respond to individuals with
comments.
Notes – Students can record, save and
print notes throughout each course.
Detailed Course Tracking – PTR’s course
viewer not only tracks starts, completions and
scores but also detailed information about exact
user interaction and duration throughout the
course.
Company Portals
PTR offers Company Portals off of PTR’s Learning
Management System for delivery of online courses.
Portals are designed for and used exclusively by PTR
customers and all records are securely partitioned
and separated by customer.
Administrators may establish registration
parameters, register students, access student
records, run detailed reports, edit content, and
perform other administrative functions.
